Web App and SaaS Development

Software your team logs into, built the way you actually work.

A web app is software that runs in a browser, like a dashboard, a booking system or a customer portal. You log in, do the work, and nothing needs installing.

Web app development makes sense when spreadsheets and off the shelf tools stop fitting. You end up with workarounds: duplicate data, manual copying, mistakes nobody catches until a customer complains. A custom web application replaces that with one system that matches how your business genuinely runs.

What's included

What you actually get

Built around your process

We map how work moves through your business first, then build software that follows it, rather than the other way round.

Secure logins and permissions

Staff, managers and customers each see only what they should. Passwords handled properly and sessions kept secure.

Live data, no refreshing

Dashboards and lists update as things happen, so two people are never working from different numbers.

Connects to your other tools

Accounting, payments, email, CRM and delivery partners wired together so data moves on its own.

Subscriptions and billing

If you are selling access to the product, we set up plans, payments, invoices and upgrades.

Scales without falling over

Architected so ten users and ten thousand users both work, and so new features do not break the old ones.

Process mapping session with sticky notes on a glass wall

We map the work first

Before any code, we follow a job through your business end to end and find where it currently breaks.

In more detail

How this actually works

The first version should be embarrassingly small

The most common way custom software fails is being too ambitious on day one. We find the single most painful part of the process, build that properly, and get your team using it within weeks. Real usage tells you what the second version needs far more reliably than a planning document does.

Your data stays exportable

Everything the system holds can be exported in a standard format at any time, and the database schema is documented. You are never in a position where leaving us means losing your operating history.

Built for the people who will actually use it

We talk to the staff doing the work, not only the person commissioning the project. Software that ignores the person entering data at four o'clock on a Friday gets quietly abandoned, and then you have paid for a system your team routes around.

How a project runs

Four stages, priced before each one

Typically 8 to 16 weeks for a first version

    01

    Process mapping

We sit with the people doing the work and document how a job actually moves through the business today, including the workarounds.

    02

Scope and fixed price per phase

You get the first phase specified and priced. Later phases are estimated but not committed, so you are never signing a blank cheque.

    03

    Build in short cycles

Working software in front of you every couple of weeks. You change your mind while changing your mind is still cheap.

    04

    Rollout and training

We migrate your data, train the team, and stay close through the first weeks of real use when the awkward edges show up.

Built to still make sense in year three

Clear structure and documentation, so adding a feature later does not mean breaking the last one.

Who it's for

This is usually the right fit if…

  • Teams running their operation on spreadsheets and group chats
  • Founders launching a subscription software product
  • Companies paying for several tools that still do not talk to each other
  • Businesses where one person is the only one who knows how the process works

Questions

Common questions

That is usually the right move. We build the core that solves the most painful problem first, get your team using it, then expand from there based on what real use teaches us.

You do. The code, the data and the accounts are yours, and we hand everything over at the end. Nothing is held on our accounts or licensed back to you.

Most clients move onto a support plan, so there is a known monthly cost for fixes and improvements. You can also just commission work as you need it.

It depends entirely on scope. We give you a fixed price per phase after the mapping stage, so you know the number before committing to that phase.

Often several of them, which is where the maths usually works. We are honest when it cannot. Accounting and payroll, for example, are almost always better bought than built.

You keep the code, the documentation and the accounts, and any competent developer can pick it up. We write it to be handed over, because that is the only honest way to build software you own.

Proper password hashing, role based access, encrypted connections, audit logs on sensitive actions and regular dependency updates. For anything holding personal data we walk you through where it lives and who can reach it.
