Who we are

What we collect, and why

The enquiry form

When you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to add, such as your company, phone number or project details. This is sent to us by email through Resend, a transactional email provider, and used only to reply to your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list or share this with anyone else.

The site assistant

If you use the chat assistant in the corner of the screen, your messages are sent to Hugging Face's inference API to generate a reply. We do not ask for personal details through the assistant, and you should avoid sharing anything sensitive there. Conversations are not linked to your name or email unless you type them into the chat yourself.

Analytics cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how people find the site. This sets cookies that record anonymised usage patterns, such as which page you visited and roughly where from. Analytics only loads if you accept it in the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and reloading the page, which brings the banner back.

Cookies Google Analytics may set once accepted:

• _ga: distinguishes visitors, expires after 2 years
• _ga_*: persists session state, expires after 2 years

Product usage analytics

We also use Vercel Analytics to see aggregate page views and load performance. This runs without cookies and does not identify individual visitors, so it is not gated behind cookie consent.

Third parties we use

• Resend, to deliver enquiry form emails
• Hugging Face, to power the site assistant's replies
• Google Analytics, for consented usage statistics
• Vercel, to host the site and measure performance

Each of these processes data under its own privacy terms. We only share what is necessary for them to provide their service to us.

How long we keep data

Enquiry form emails are kept in our inbox for as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting work, then deleted or archived. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings, currently 2 years.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@quicsort.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted here for at least three months.
